the 20th Graduation Day Ceremony of Liberty
Specialist Institute Koforidua Eastern Region.
As you may be aware, the Hospitality Industry
Depends on Value Customers for its Survival.
However, Today’s customers unlike the past are more
sophisticated, more informed and therefore more
aware of their choices due to the current advances
in information communication technology. That has
turned the world into a global village.
Furthermore, Today’s customers are more demanding
and insist on value for money in both the facilities
and services provided.
To be able to meet the expectation of our modern
sophisticated customers and remain in competition
with other tourist countries of the world, Ghana has
no Alternative that to provide high quality customer
service within a clean and hygienic environment
Distinguish ladies and gentlemen
To achieve the above, there is the need for an
integrated and well structured Human Resource
Development, programme in the Hospitality Industry
in Ghana.
By this Institute of Develop the Human Resource in
the Tourist Industry. It is in this context that the
Board and the Management of the Institute are
collaborating to offer mid- semester short courses
to personnel who are already engaged in the
Hospitality Industry.
This will enable the personnel develop their career
and stick with the Tourist Industry to provide the
needed professional touch to improve the quality of
service and therefore the competitiveness of the
Tourist Industry
