and gentlemen and all protocol observed.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to yet another
milestone in the history of Liberty Specialist
Institute’s 20th annual graduation ceremony and the
launching of the School Naval Cadet. May the good
Lord be praised for His faithfulness and Mercies for
all these years, as this year also marks twenty-one
(21) years of our establishment.
This year eighty-eight (88) students are graduating
from the various courses: Catering Intermediate and
Advance, Accommodation Operation and Services, Food
and Beverages Service, Fashion and Designing.
Madam Chairperson, Guest Speaker, ladies and
gentlemen, The school started with two students in a
rented house, but as Andrew Jackson put it “One-man
with courage makes a majority” the school that
started with two students, with courage,
determination and perseverance has become a big
establishment whose name has gone far.
Madam Chairperson, Your Excellency Wi Keyei Chul,
the Guest Speaker, the Board of Directors, Clergy,
Teachers, Parents and my dear students, it is
interesting to know that, the new century has come
with its complexity and challenges coupled with
technology advancement, and as an institute we are
also doing everything possible to regenerate the new
generational needs and aspirations.
This we do by exploiting all opportunities and
employing new ideas into the training of our
students, which accord them, respect and honor
everywhere they go.
In the advent of this technology era, we also want
to diversify and broaden our courses by introducing
Diploma in Business Studies (DBS) God willing this
academic year to cater for the needs and aspirations
of those who have managerial interest.
We will keep on with acquisition and application of
new ideas to equip our students with skills, tools
and keys to unlock the current skills development
confronting our youth.
